New Works 2025 - Part 1

16 June - 18 July 2025

Artwork: Damage Control, Sam Luff

overview

What are artists making right now — in this moment, this year, this phase of their practice?

With Contemporaries – New Works 2025 – Part 1, Domio Gallery presents a curated selection of works created in the first half of 2025. These pieces reflect the materials, methods, and questions shaping artists’ practices today — not yesterday, not someday, but now.

Some works are the result of recent shifts. Others deepen long-term investigations. Whether intuitive or precise, conceptual or material, each one shows an artist in motion — thinking, refining, expressing.

This exhibition offers a shared view of contemporary art as it takes form across borders, disciplines, and styles. We selected works for their clarity, perspective, and relevance — pieces that speak to where things stand and hint at where they’re headed.

We invite you to explore the works, follow the artist links, and connect with what resonates. This is contemporary art in its present tense.

overview

What happens when we let go of expectations—of mastery, tradition, and perfection—and instead ask: What do you want to say?

With Freedom, Domio Gallery presents a digital exhibition shaped not by technical skill but by the urgency of expression. Artists from around the world, from young talents to seasoned creators, explore what freedom looks and feels like in their lives.

For some, freedom is political. For others, it is personal: a memory, a breath, a secret garden. Through photography, illustration, abstraction, and more, the exhibition becomes a map of many lives, each searching for meaning in its own way.

We curated Freedom by choosing to listen first and evaluate later. Each work was selected for its honesty, perspective, and the need to be seen. We recognize that a single image cannot capture the full story, so we invite visitors to explore the artists’ websites for deeper insight into their creative journeys.

Let these works move you, challenge you, comfort you, or even unsettle you. That, too, is freedom.
