overview

The exhibition “Young Brazilian Artists” offers a dynamic and innovative perspective of Brazil’s new generation of artists, all under the age of 30 and hailing from various regions of the country. With diverse backgrounds, these young creators present a rich array of perspectives that reflect the cultural and social plurality that defines Brazil.

The show brings together self-taught artists and those trained in renowned art institutions, fostering a fertile dialogue between different paths and creative processes. Each work is unique, blending technical skill with deep content, transitioning between traditional techniques and the experimentation with new media and materials. The works not only reveal the personal stories and identities of their creators, but also provoke reflections on the social, political, and cultural realities of Brazil.

With a keen focus on contemporary issues, the exhibition immerses us in themes such as identity, memory, and the complex relationships between the individual and society. It explores the tensions between the traditional and the new, the personal and the collective, inviting us to reflect on the transformations and challenges that shape modern-day Brazil.
